Just in case you have any questions for me, don't ask them over at BTC because I most probably won't see them.

Besides checking what Evan posts at BTC I won't read anything else there for some time.

Over the last couple of weeks I noticed that some of my lesser-stable braincells seriously thought about committing suicide when reading some of the posts there.

Since the number of braincells in my head is finite, and the dumbness of the trolls there not, I'll put the complete BTC-forum on ignore for a while.

TL;DR: if you have questions for me ask here or at Slack, not at BTC
 
Yer its got damaging to my coat, I have to admit.
No matter how many times it is said, the trolls are still quoted by regular posters, I know they mean well and want to defend our position(passionately) but the same stuff just keeps getting repeated and repeated ad nauseum, with the added bonus that a number of Dash related posts (such as Otoh) are getting deleted by the mods.

It looks like a fine coat. Might even need a trim :)
 
It's a good idea Crowning. I've taken time away from it and felt so much better. Now I pop in once or twice a day to help out a little, then leave again. Unless we close the thread, someone has to defend the project, or the trolls will get clever again, and say things to pushes people away. But yes, don't go there for a while. It's not healthy :)
 
They'll try to worm their way in here too, they've a licence to troll on BCT though so they wont have it so easy. Needs the genuine announcement kept bumped though as burying them seems like one of their key objectives, was surprised how many hadn't seen the iPhone wallet news when we kept it bumped on every page. They went crazy spamming the thread ofc but that's got to be wearing them down, there cant be any kind of job satisfaction from that braindead shite and if they're putting all their effort into that then at least some other poor fecker's getting some peace.

Anyway, off topic. So is this a kind of "ask me anything" crowning? One of those "what colour socks are you wearing?" type things? ;) Ok, who's that in your profile pic? Always been curious, I know there's something more important I've been meaning to ask but only through the first sip of coffee of the day and still on mental autopilot.
 
Great idea. Since summer there have been times in which I have not checked btctalk for many days and it feels great.
 
I quit bct around page 5300 when it became clear people would continue responding to trolls. Nothing good comes from that site anymore, nothing.
