"Cannot obtain a lock on data directoy"

I have not previously had any issues with the Dash Core (64-bit) application, however this morning when I attempt to run the program an error message appears "Cannot obtain a lock on data directory" C:Users..... . ..... . .. . .. .... Dash Core is probably already running [OK]

the program will not open.

It's in use, or something crashed and left the lock file present... If you accidentally ran dashd, it would lock the directory and you wouldn't "see" it.

Ah, winblows... Reboot?

Instead of trying to figure it out, I'd just copy my wallet.dat somewhere else, delete the whole directory, and start over. Could be dangerous since it's not smart to mess with wallet.dat while it's in use... If you KNOW the files is not actually open by and legit dash client instance... Check task manager.
