    Problems after upgrading to 12.2

Sometimes node crashes due to lack of RAM/swap (OOM kills it to save the system). I'd recommend to have at least 1GB RAM and 4GB swap, this should be enough even for a relatively long time burst of 2MB blocks and lots of proposals/votes etc.

    Version 12.2 release

FYI: 1. MN upgrade progress Total: 4715 (PS Compatible: 4095 / Enabled: 4295 / Qualify: 2064) i.e. ~86% of all nodes or ~95% of active nodes are upgraded now. 2. It's almost 2 weeks since the 12.2 release and almost every active 12.1 masternode which was started more than 1 week ago was paid...

    DashRadar development thread

Nice! I created few graphs based on your examples (mostly a shameless copy-paste with few tweaks ) and it's very interesting to see some trends. On a side note, I think most common/popular requests deserve a dedicated page/website like https://blockchain.info/charts with static previews...

DASH mining in any capacity is officially dead

I agree that there is a "soft cap" which basically forms as a balance of mining cost and token price. I didn't say otherwise, so there is no need to prove the point to me. I disagree that we (as a dev team) has anything to do with it or that we can somehow magically "fix" it. Again, it's a...

DASH mining in any capacity is officially dead

We are not capping it, it's market doing its job. Market sends everyone a signal - MINING IS NOT PROFITABLE IN SHORT TERM, DO NOT BUY NEW MINERS IF YOU DON'T WANT TO LOSE MONEY.(Sorry for upper case but market is basically screaming at this point). Yet people keep buying them. I can't stop...

Epoch issues when inserting a proposal

I'm guessing that you are using DashCentral to generate a proposal. Please try https://proposal.dash.org/ @rango you need to fix DashCentral's proposals generator - amount and epochs should be numbers (explicitly) or proposal is invalid otherwise, see...

DASH mining in any capacity is officially dead

Few points: 1. You can't compare sha256 vs x11 hashrates directly, it's meaningless and says nothing about how one network is more or less secure comparing to the other. What matters is a _portion_ of globally available sha256/x11 hashrate allocated towards Bitcoin/Dash. 2. Blockchains work...

    Problems after upgrading to 12.2

They only report good block if there is a miner. If this cluster consists of a non-mining nodes on a wrong chain and all miners switched to other peers and are mining on the right chain, then the whole cluster will just sit there waiting for blocks forever (well, for 24h actually, until the ban...

    Problems after upgrading to 12.2

It could be that the whole cluster is isolated due to a fork, so banning more neighbors won't help, you won't discover new peers and will have to pick them manually anyway.

    Problems after upgrading to 12.2

Or maybe you have no blocks because you have no good peers around you? Pick some masternode from the list, grab its IP and use it ./dash-cli addnode <IPhere>:9999 onetry

    Problems after upgrading to 12.2

If you run masternode as a qt wallet you are doing it wrong, don't do this :) For local wallet (the one you start your remote masternode from) - yes, ignore the dash-cli part

    12.2.x Adoption

See my recent post in 12.2 release thread https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/version-12-2-release.17807/page-5#post-146891 We need majority of miners on 12.2 first or they will fork off. Also it's been only a week since the release was announced, so not everyone on 12.1 received their rewards...
