RC4 issues, bugs & feature requests

It's not really a bug as it was officially descoped from RC4 by Evan : https://darkcointalk.org/threads/closed-rc4-testing.1830/page-74#post-15229 I would be extremely careful with this feature as it has never been tested on testnet.

flare, thanks for clarifying. Do you know where we can find the info promised earlier?

    v0.10.12.x RC4 Testing

I thought it was you; but I might be mistaken... You're usually spot on for the setup of masternodes

    v0.10.12.x RC4 Testing

Have a look at this post: https://darkcointalk.org/threads/masternode-guide-for-complete-noobs-to-update-to-0-10-12-26.1763/#post-16189 It seems that everything is fine. In case of doubt, you can probably contact vertoe or Lebubar who successfully updated several masternodes.

    v0.10.12.x RC4 Testing

That should indeed be the expected behavior. As vertoe indicated somewhere on the forum, the best way to set up a new masternode is to create a wallet without DRK, run masternode genkey, turn off darkcoind or darkcoin-qt, update darkcoin.conf with masternode=1 and only then send DRK to the...

    v0.10.12.x RC4 Testing

It is apparently time to update? Where can I find the very detailed explanation mentioned hereabove? I'd like the transition to be as smooth as possible! Thanks!

    RC4 Launch

It might be worth waiting until all compiled clients are available to avoid confusion, though.

flare Do you already have something drafted? Can we already plan something to make sure as many of us are available?

    v0.10.12.x RC4 Testing

I have a wallet on Windows updated to the latest version (v0.10.12.17-gf266a9a-beta) for which a Darksend Denominate transaction has been stuck for more than 36 hours. I can attach the wallet or send it to a dev if interested...

    v0.10.12.x RC4 Testing

As far as I recall correctly I did not select inputs under coin control; I merely selected "Use Anonymous Funds" at the bottom of the main 'Send' screen.

    v0.10.12.x RC4 Testing

    v0.10.12.x RC4 Testing

Can we get back on topic? This is the RC4 testing thread, not the speculation thread. This said, I do not feel comfortable with only testing Linux builds of the masternode/darksend client on testnet. I believe we should finalize testing with windows and mac clients as well before releasing to...

    v0.10.12.x RC4 Testing

eduffield It's pretty sneaky to have rounded the 'Darksend Denominate' transactions to 0.00 DRK, effectively hiding the fact that they usually cost -0.001 DRK as can be seen by clicking on the transaction details. So much for the transparency we were discussing earlier in this thread!
