One of my MN's dropped over earlier today. Had to restart it. wasn't anything to do with my set up (i have two running on the same VPS) so the network must have got grumpy with it for some reason.

I agree Stonehenge. I'm not saying that I'm going to do it :wink: I'm saying that there is a clear economic incentive for me not to update until I absolutely have to (i.e. I get kicked off the network).

I should add that this is quite clearly not in the interests of the network but giving non-compliant actors time to update in the network will result in these perverse incentives. I'm sure Even is already 10 steps ahead on that and it must be the lesser of two evils but if that's the rules of...

Well, if that is the case and I end up forfeiting my MN payment to a MN that hasn't updated then the only sensible thing for me to do going forwards is to only update 50% of my MN's. Then only update the other half when i have to. That way I spread the risk.

These pools just aren't going to update of their own free will. There's no incentive. In fact, it seems like there's a disincentive given that I've now lost 4 MN payments totalling 5.2DRK since the update. I presume those DRK just go to the pool and miners? is that correct?

I *think* i now have two test masternodes running on my VPS. Set them up the same as my mainnet ones (cold windows wallet). How do I check that they are now active? I've got 'masternode successfully started' on my windows wallet when activating for both but when I do a 'masternode list' my IP's...

I'll bolt on a tMN to my VPS this morning. Quick question guys, can I run a tMN on the same server as my live MN? I'd be using a different user profile obviously, but would I need an additional IP? I'd have thought I'd be ok as testnet runs on a different port? Walter
