Aye, the recent forexminute article stresses how Dark is lagging because of lack of adoption by merchants. Nobody is using it so it's just become a commodity. I'm not sure how this can be addressed beyond people just spreading their Dark around more. Plug 300 dollars into Bittrex and then spread...

If they take your details that has to be weighed up. Many VPNs also offer blint payment with tokens using Bitcoin so no details at all.

I can't help you since I don't use either service, but at a push you could buy Bitcoin on localbitcoins using these easily. Then use the Bitcoin to pick up the Dark. Bit indirect but it'll work.
