Budget Proposal: Peter Todd to review Instant X?

OK, while I see the comedy value of Reverend Todd debating Juan online, I now see the light. Here is the right team for the job: So, who wants to reach out to them...

Budget Proposal: Peter Todd to review Instant X?

Even if the review does not go ahead, the screenshots of Juan discussing it with Pope Todd would be marketing GOLD.

Budget Proposal: Peter Todd to review Instant X?

Evolution will be a long time coming. Instantx should be ready enough for this. Bring it on! Juan - get the almighty Todd to give you his DASH address so the block reward funding can go directly to him. Double win!

Budget proposal: Change of X11 mining algorithm because of ASICs

Why do you continuously move the goalposts back? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moving_the_goalposts What do miners do? They either hold or sell. It doesn't matter which technology is used to create the mining reward. Mining using higher hashing tech (ASIC) would make the GTA problem...

Budget proposal: Change of X11 mining algorithm because of ASICs

It's about dumping. When the (CPU and GPU) bot mines DASH, it is dumped immediately creating downward price pressure. If higher hashing rate ASICs increase difficulty, then the bot earns less. When the bot earns less, there are less DASH dumped.

Should we change the mining algorithm because of ASICs?

No. If you bought all 50 it would only add 20% to the network hashrate. Sorry, your plan to rule the world was foiled again! Total Network = 70 Gh/s All 50 ASICs = 19 Gh/s

Should we change the mining algorithm because of ASICs?

Tended to be centralized? Pure conjecture. ASIC 2.0? Pure bullshit. Look at the network hashrate. It hasn't changed for a long, long time. Where are these secret ASICS?
