    Self-sustainable Decentralized Governance by Blockchain

Sorry, I posted that by accident before I finished typing (fat fingered something), so you didn't see the rest of the post. Right now, we are "siphoning off" a higher and higher percent to create more and more masternodes. That's hardly something we need as a community when compared to the need...

    Self-sustainable Decentralized Governance by Blockchain

I respectfully disagree. Bitcoin was the trial run and it isn't working. Bitcoin "taxes" everyone and allocate 100% of it to mining operations. They are super secure, sure, but they are broke.

    Self-sustainable Decentralized Governance by Blockchain

This is a complete paradigm shift in crypo and I personally think it is brilliant. I totally see crouton's point about a "tax" being unfair, but I view it very differently. Bitcoin got a lot of things right, but one thing they got wrong was allocating every single coin generated to the task of...

    Self-sustainable Decentralized Governance by Blockchain

I was actually under the impression (though I could be wrong) that the donation feature didn't work with multi-sig addresses. I wanted to set up donation to the foundation, but I couldn't figure out if it would work. There really needs to be better information on this feature before you can...

    11.2 - Dash Release

I am having an issue with the masternode stop commands. I'm wondering if I am perhaps doing something wrong (perhaps with masternode.conf) or if this is issue I should report. Anyone else experiencing this? I have multiple masternodes, all appear to be running fine, responding to commands, and...

    v0.11.2.x Testing

I think the question is, could you have multiple "donation addresses" for the same MN? For example, if I have a 20% owner of my MN, could I have 20% go to them, then donate another 3% to a dev project, and then send 10% to an exchange? Or would I only be able to do one of those automatically and...

    Dash Logo Contest

These look really good. #1 is first choice and #6 is a distant second for me. I agree with alex-ru that the "A" seems a little like an "R". Feels trendy and "trying too hard", but I really like the arrows in the "S". For some logos that would feel cheesy, but for Dash, it is really relevant to...

    v0.11.2.x Testing

Hi, y'all... Darkcoin is in the mile high club! I'm running a testnet instance from 30,000 feet on GoGo. Is this this first testnet instance in the sky?

    v0.11.1.x InstantX Testing

Awesome... just popped up a wallet and one CPU thread of mining. I just noticed this too late in the evening to do more, but hopefully sometime this week I can set up a masternode. Is it helpful at all to set up a masternode on an older version to mimic what will inevitably happen on mainnet? We...

    v0.11.1.x InstantX Testing

I spun up a testnet wallet on Win 32 using the latest link, but it's still showing as v0.11.1.0 instead of v0.11.1.1. But I think it's just a typo... here's what I show in getinfo: version" : 110100, "protocolversion" : 70055, "walletversion" : 61000 So, I seem to have the protocol version...

    v0.11.0 - Darkcoin Core Release

That is the hash of a block on the correct chain. In the debug console, just enter "getblock 0000000000008bba11033c31a1a4df29db8557b8355ef6738f7a93beb2fc4901" and if you have that block, then you are on the right chain.

    v0.11.0 - Darkcoin Core Release

My Windows wallet was humming along and then ran into the same issue. I was NOT using an old 60001 wallet, so it is probably not related to that. I resolved the issue the same way you did (zapwallettxes), but my fear is that the average user won't know how to fix it. If this was a freak event...

    How can I trust Darkcoin?

Bill, Since you are not a cryptographer and you have limited programming skills, you obviously cannot check the code yourself... at least not without devoting considerable effort to become an expert in cryptography, programming, and cryptocurrencies. That's simply not practical for most of the...

    Change Contracts using Atomic Transfers

What downsides are there, then? The only mentioned so far: 1) You might need to wait for more funds to anonymize (but you have to do this anyway, so not really much of a "downside" vs. transactions without change) 2) Users could expose themselves, but only after being warned and deciding they...
