Baikal New miner Giant-A900 Now open for sale

Thanks for sharing your experience. I've never had experience with Pinidea. Did you ask for support, or figured out flashing the firmware by yourself? I'm satisfied with Baikal support, as they did help me troubleshoot when my Giant went bust. Having an OEM that helps you out is of value to me...

(Pre-Proposal) DASHPayCard - DASH Branded Debit Card + Fiat/Dash Integration

Can I order my card yet? From the Dash Central link and the twitter tweet I'm not sure what the status of the project is.

Baikal New miner Giant-A900 Now open for sale

When I receive the miners and set them up, I'll definitely add a review here. Jason also has a good review from another user he showed me, which made me more confident to make the purchase.

I bought the 2 Cubes from @JasonHan for $1400 each.

Baikal New miner Giant-A900 Now open for sale

You guys could try buying from resellers in the Dash forums. I've purchased a Giant from one of them and it's working great. Just last night I purchased 2 Cubes from another guy in the forums and see how it goes.

Baikal Cube 300m - Can they be linked up together?

I'm not really sure linking 3 of them together is going to do any difference, though. Just put them in a pool and you'll get corresponding rewards proportional to your hash rate

    Mining pools that actually work?

Awesome! Let me know how the deal goes. I'll post my experiences here as well. I actually like the Giants better. More hash rate in a single package. The good thing about having many Minis are you can test faster the pool earnings, I guess. Also, it's easier to resell the hardware to other people.

    Mining pools that actually work?

Just contacted Baikal, but they just ran out of Cubes! They go out like hot cakes.

Whaaaat?? 15000 MH/s? As in 15 GH/s? Is there such an ASIC? I thought the fastest one was the Giant 900 MH/s. In the past, I've purchased an ASIC from someone in the forum, but we used an escrow. In Jason's case he needs the funds send directly to him. And buying 2 Giants from him (my initial...

    Mining pools that actually work?

I'm sorry, I meant to say 0.3 Dash per day with my Giant. Glad you bought a Cube! I bought one a few hours ago, as a matter of fact, from @JasonHan. Where did you buy yours? Remember to buy the 12V @5A adapter to power it. According to Baikal, the circular connector to power it should be 5.5 mm...

Baikal New miner Giant-A900 Now open for sale

Thanks for the very objective information, Smining. The conclusion I draw is, I don't trust them. How would they just refuse to personally accept payment from someone willing to invest $40k ~ $50k? It's an office, not a bunker. Not sore what all the secrecy is about. I just bought 2 cubes from...

    Mining pools that actually work?

Thanks a lot for the detailed answer, LMC. I'm actually in that same scenario where I need to compare payouts from different sources. I have already downloaded the Blockchain from the Dash Core Wallet. It's good to know that it has served you. I also like the fact that it can generate easily new...

How many months do I have to wait to mix 27.000 dash coins?

Won't the IP addresses from the txes be the same? And won't that introduce the same anonymity challenges Bitcoin has?

Baikal New miner Giant-A900 Now open for sale

I have not, but was thinking to do so mainly because @Roslyn says that they're the actual manufacturer of the miners, which I find odd as they name of the product has "baikal" in them. I don't think I'm ready to trust a seller who's not the official manufacturer and also doesn't have positive...

X11 ASIC Baikal Mini Miner Spec

Thanks! And yeah, I would be nervous if I were you. The only reason I paid them was because they supported PayPal. That gave me some confident PayPal would have my back. They're probably located in China, like all the OEMs. I think we have other users who got burned by asicminerMarket in this...

X11 ASIC Baikal Mini Miner Spec

Quite possibly. I'd stay away from them. If I hadn't contacted PayPal, I'd be 2400 short with no miner.

    Evolution Security

Hello, I've seen the videos where Amanda says that Evolution is going to be like PayPal, as in, the user will only need a user name and password. And that you'd be able to access your account and send funds from multiple devices. How do these credentials relate to the public and private key of...

Noob start . Kindly Looking or some answers

Before I got my ASIC, I was trying to mine with my CPU (don't own any GPUs at the moment). I did find it very cumbersome to get instructions and the right software to work properly. As you can read, it's all ASICs now. There shouldn't be a technical reason you can't still mine with CPUs, but...
