    ASIC life span

I agree with @Ashutosh. Even if you've been trading in crypto for a while, I wouldn't advise to spend all your money in mining. I also suggest start small, get some experience (3-6 months sounds reasonable), and go from there. And particularly Dash mining income hasn't been stable at all...

    Collateralized mining - ETA

I'm not su sure about that. If I had to guess, the Dash Foundation would favor the MasterNodes, not the miners. Anyone can buy a Baikal miner today. Not everyone can buy a MN today. People who have MNs are early adopters and supporters, and big whales (now or back then). It would've been...

Baikal New miner Giant-A900 Now open for sale

Glad you have it working! Oh well, if you love in the same country then that's a different story. Lucky you! So 0.1 Dash every 16 hours translates to 2 Dash/month, which is almost what my old Giant makes on Coinmine. You probably want to switch it to that pool and test of you het higher...

I hope you get your miner soon. When I made my order with them I also didn't hear from them in over a week. Ended up canceling the order and getting a refund (thanks to PayPal), but I've heard someone ordered from AsicMinermarket and actually got the miner, but not without a great deal of hustling.

What is the best pool for Dash mining ?

I've been on coinmine for over a month and it has been good overall. I see that the dominating pool right now is cybtc. The process of entering it is a bit confusing, because you have to ask for an invite on a Chinese Instant Messaging app entering a QQ code or something. Has anyone been able...

    Baikalminer 2000MH manufacturer purchase Journal

Calculator says you ROI in a little over 5 months, so even a Giant+ I think is worth buying if you can't get a hold of the other ones...

Baikal New miner Giant-A900 Now open for sale

I think I know which Susan you're talking about. She's also on WeChat. I agree she's somewhat dodgey and not very trust inspiring. You would've troubleshot first with the forum instead of sending it back. I've had my fair share of troubleshooting with the Giants. You don't know when you're going...

    Baikalminer 2000MH manufacturer purchase Journal

I'd recommend joining GigaWatt's slack and asking them. They're a legit site IMO. Their site is GigaWatt.sg. I have a few of the old Giants, and they're making about 1.8 - 2 Dash / month, so a Giant+ should be making twice that amount. Difficulty will increase the following weeks probably just...

    Baikalminer 2000MH manufacturer purchase Journal

Welcome, scrapper. How much are they selling you the Giant+ for? They offered me $4k, which is ok. As far as $/MHs ratio, Baikal isn't doing too Greta with all the new miners that came out a few weeks ago, but because it's fairly hard to get your hands on a miner these days, you can probably...

The power draw is ~225W, which si probably what you want to calculate how much you're paying for electricity or which power supply to get.

X11 ASIC Baikal Mini Miner Spec

Be extra careful on buying from second hand dealers. Especially if they're outside from the crypto community and / or don't accept escrow. There have been tons of users here in the forums who have been scammed by sellers in eBay, AliBaba, AliExpress, even Amazon users. That being said, I think...

Best ASIC Miner? Looking at the Baikal A900

Seriously? The Baikal Giant A900 *was* the best Dash miner to buy 3 months ago. Since then, there have been 3 new miners that outhash the Giant by >10x: iBeLink DM11G: 10.8GH/s Bitmain D3: 15GH/s InnoSilicon A5: 30GH/s The best that Baikal could come up with us the Giant+ with barely 2GH/s. No...

How to keep DASH ASIC miner cool

Thanks, man. Really informative. I don't think I've had a Giant crash on me, even when it's in the high 30s and low 40s. Good to know then that with a good airflow system at ~28C should be good. That makes me save a lot on AC, if I'd want to implement it to keep my miners cool.

Good to know. Still, wouldn't like to buy from them after my experience... How long did it take for them to ship the miner after your initial payment?

    New iBeLink 10.8 GH/s X11 miner

Probably a reseller that cut a deal with Bitmain. Bitmain sends them a few miners in mid September that they then resell for a mark-up. And they're saying Oct to have a buffer in case Bitmain delays...

How to keep DASH ASIC miner cool

I just got word from another miner that he can get his GPU miners to ~23C even when outside the temp is ad ~36C, which is just crazy. He says that the most important thing isn't cooling, but getting hot air out. And he uses an exhaust fan with an intake louvre. As for my measures, I just leave...
