    V12.1 Testnet Launch Thread

Dedicated tMN running v0.12.1.0-de7b2b6 is stuck on block 56763. Deleting *.dat except wallet.dat and reindexing didn't help.

    V12.1 Testnet Launch Thread

Dedicated tMN updated. Be warned it defaults to a working directory of ~/.dashcore now, so if you just update the code and start the daemon it won't be using your old configuration. :)

    V12.1 Testnet Launch Thread

I would, but the VPS provider really doesn't like it when I do things like that. :(

    Concern about distributed Masternodes

I am a bit curious to hear how he/she intends to prevent Sybil attacks by using cryptography to detect "dishonest majorities", but I seriously doubt this is going to happen.

    V12.1 Testnet Launch Thread

You're welcome. Would be nice to see more people on IRC. Let's test some code! My dedicated tMN is bored (load 0.00) :p

    V12.1 Testnet Launch Thread

@flare if you would update the https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/testnet-tools-resources.1768/ post to direct IRC people to #dashpay instead of #darkcoin-test it would be appreciated.

    V12.1 Testnet Launch Thread

I think it's best to avoid encouraging people to rely on a proprietary service given the nature of this project. From what I hear Slack has some decent features, but those features do not provide enough utility for me to justify using it.

    V12.1 Testnet Launch Thread

Dedicated tMN updated to v0.12.1.0-ee31604. Looking pretty healthy from the tMN side, but I haven't had a chance to test mixing with this version yet. I notice on the testnet tools post (https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/testnet-tools-resources.1768/) we're directing people to #darkcoin-test...

Great work all! Doing my best to keep up. Dedicated tMN updated to v0.12.1.0-7f52065. :)

    iPhone DashWallet Release

I don't mean to seem impatient, but it has been nearly 3 months since this thread was created. My only intention here is to try and get this app available to more people (hence my interest in builds that run on older versions of iOS). Do we have any reason to believe they would reject the app...

    iPhone DashWallet Release

How soon can we make the 2nd attempt? About how long does it take for them to process the request? Right now it seems there are no simple installation options for anyone (even if they're jailbroken), so that definitely isn't a good thing. Even with it in the official app store a lot of people...

    iPhone DashWallet Release

That's excellent! Could you get this build on some popular alternative app repositories such as Cydia or AppCake? I should be able to find some time to assist if that would be helpful. Thanks!

Leap of faith: Fulltimegeek goes full-time on Dash

Welcome to the team! Gestures like these almost bring tears to my eyes. I would love to do this, especially given I truly believe in what we're doing, but I have a family to take care of, so it's difficult for me to find the time to make the technical contributions I would like to. That...

Volunteer to support Dash development (Debian Packaging)

Sorry for the delay. I would like to move forward with this now that we're well into v0.12 territory. Do any Dash core devs have a stance on the bdb issue? I'm not familiar with the background on this, so I would need to do some digging to form an opinion (are the Bitcoin core devs concerned...

    V12 Testing Thread

It's just a bug. Should be able to work around it by shutting down, remove fee_estimates.dat, then restart (reference https://dashtalk.org/threads/v12-testing-thread.5484/page-17#post-57500).

    COINOMAT.COM - eur/usd/crypto/visa/mastercard

I don't see any mention on their site of how long it takes to load fiat onto a card. Anyone tried this service?

    Lets Add a Chat Room

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't even know why some started using Slack instead of IRC. Far as I can tell, there isn't much real-time Dash chat anywhere, so I'm not sure adding more places (that aren't bridged) makes sense. Having an embedded web IRC client here could be interesting though.

Volunteer to support Dash development (Debian Packaging)

Had a little time to do some testing today. Since I believe poiuty has successfully compiled the stable branch of Dash Core on Debian stable (just some minor test case failures), I decided to test compiling the v0.12.0.x branch of Dash Core on Debian unstable. I was able to get it compiled, but...

I see that. Good to hear. Will be looking into this soon.

What Debian branch are you working with? Speaking of development channels, it's been just the git bot and I in #dashpay-dev (@freenode) for quite some time now. Would love to see more people in there!
