    Dash branded ATM update thread

So we received the first two machines. The delivery driver gave us the wrong ones. They were addressed to our competitor and he has ours. This is a problem since our contract and invoices are by serial number. I haven't heard back from General Bytes yet. Don't know if they will pay to swap...

Dash is gaining steam and it won't stop anytime soon

One of the driving factors driving the price of Dash is the difficulty. A single D3 makes less than 0.01 Dash per day now. No one in their right mind would sell 0.01 Dash when it equals $5. Power costs almost nullify those profits. I think that the supply from miners will continue to be...

    BTC/BCH drama = Dash awareness?

Unfortunately, BTC drama is helping BTC. BTC is like the Kardashians, it grows more and more everytime the media mentions its name.

BITMAIN RUINING THE DASH MINING SYSTEM!

The good news is, with profits so low, us miners will hodl. No one is going to sell $3 in Dash a day. That should further restrict the supply of Dash and help the price go up. Now imagine you were making 0.015 BTC per day with a single miner, you'd be ecstatic. Mining is a long game, you just...

    Dash branded ATM update thread

Hello, just a little update. There were delays with the manufacturer on delivering the machines. They are ready now but won't ship until Monday due to a Czech holiday. We also had a few articles in the Dutch and French news talking about ATM operators exploiting a loophole in the EU laws...

Dash hot wallet and General Bytes ATM

We have three ATMs on the calendar in the next few months. We are past due to deploy (we're paying the lease already) but we're waiting for the machines to arrive. There were some delays due to the Dutch customs office not activating our VAT number in a timely manner. A week of phone calls...

Dash hot wallet and General Bytes ATM

Thank you for the reply, Sorry about the little frustration vent there; I removed it. I'm happy to hear about the Dash support. Any chance of linking an exchange like Bitpanda that supports Dash to Euros?

Dash hot wallet and General Bytes ATM

Hello, I'm trying to get ready to deploy my ATMs. Unfortunately, Dash is still not supported on 2-way operations. It can't even be purchased directly from an exchange. I need to set up a hot wallet to sell Dash from. Despite all the fanfare when GB launched Dash, it still isn't well supported...

(Pre-Proposal) DASHPayCard - DASH Branded Debit Card + Fiat/Dash Integration

I was thinking that all payouts be to an online wallet approved by the Dash team, when someone creates their proposal, they would receive the wallet generated automatically. Although I have to admit, I don't have the programming skills to say if this is feasible or not, just throwing out ideas.

    Dash branded ATM update thread

I have been thinking about installing Lamassu software on the General Bytes ATM since its open source. General Bytes seems a little slow to act. Lamassu emailed me and said they added 2 way Dash support with easy install. I just wish they'd either improve the look or lower the price.

(Pre-Proposal) DASHPayCard - DASH Branded Debit Card + Fiat/Dash Integration

That's not a bad idea. Maybe each successful treasury request should be assigned and paid through an online hot wallet instead of their own wallet. Eliminates the risk of funds being lost due to HD crash. The challenge would be setting up a disbursement system that works for all users.

(Pre-Proposal) DASHPayCard - DASH Branded Debit Card + Fiat/Dash Integration

I think requesters can be held accountable. I'm not sure if it would fall under contract law or fraud if someone didn't intend to fulfill their end of the bargain. Dash could be considered a grant and it's still illegal to defraud a grant-giving organization. The thing is, you do not lack the...

    Dash branded ATM update thread

We have finalized the contract for Amstelveen and Almere. The launch date is scheduled for November 1st at both locations. We will be posting updates when the machines arrive and once they go live! If anyone can convince General Bytes to enable 2 way Dash transactions and get our exchange...

    Dash branded ATM update thread

Both Amstelveen and Almere are confirmed, awaiting final contracts. The Almere machine will be in the city center shopping center at the -1, in front of the Deen grocery store. There are about a half-dozen other retailers there and it gets about 1.3 million footfalls per year.

    Dash branded ATM update thread

A little backstory for those not familiar. In March I submitted a proposal to the treasury to install Dash brand ATMs, it includes reduces rates for Dash users, Dash logos on the exterior and usage reports to determine the volume of Dash users. The proposal was approved and we've been working...
