    Rebranding and Scalability

    Darkcoin is not playing the role you mentioned. Bitcoin is. Darkcoin plays the role of Bitcoin's nasty dark brother. I agree, Darkcoin needs a new name. The "*coin" just screams "shit-coin".

    Rebranding = looking for regulation?

    Sure. I just hope Evan won't go with Dash. I can't tell anyone to use Dash. It sounds ridiculous.. to not sound offensive.

    Rebranding and Scalability

    Main feature is Darksend bro. I think InstantX is not completely done. We can't spend our cash instantly after receiving it thus not finished in my opinion. Calling a currency "InstantX" is almost as bad as calling it "Dash". Just call it mula. AUSD (Anonymous-Dollar) maybe.

    Rebranding and Scalability

    lol. Evan with his mainstream deal. Won't happen. Gonna go illegal faster than mainstream. Just keep the Darkcoin name, make it the best crime tool so we all profit our brains out. Isn't that what u want? Profit? Dash sounds.. no comment. Darkcoin is good. Darkcoin represents the idea, the...

    Rebranding = looking for regulation?

    Darkcoin stops itself. Anonymous money can only go illegal or honeypot.. not official crypto. To go mainstream then Darksend has to be removed which then removes any value to this currency and makes it as bullshit as Litecoin. Would be a really funny story if both Darkcoin and Tor were a FBI...

    Did you step down? What happened?

    Dash / Darkcoin Tor Relay

    Yea, because most likely the IP address on "getpeerinfo" is captured by looking at the endpoint of a connected socket which in all cases using Tor hidden service will be 127.0.0.1.

    Dash / Darkcoin Tor Relay

    That is normal behavior. All IP's on Hidden services are 127.0.0.1.

    Which Masternode model should we implement?

    Yes. When under Tor or I2P it can still happen but will be much much more expensive and will require a lot more power.

    How safe are instant transactions? Current limits and its potential

    I didn't. I don't even have Darkcoin installed at the moment. I only install it when there is new features to test on testnet.

    How safe are instant transactions? Current limits and its potential

    I know. But look at the -externalip parameter. You specify your hidden service address so you can become a full node anonymously.

    How safe are instant transactions? Current limits and its potential

    Don't you also have to specify external IP? Like here: https://github.com/darkcoin/darkcoin/commit/b6ac14c5c1b749ec547622baa45f943d44b3731b user would have to create a hidden service.

    Which Masternode model should we implement?

    This right here is straight up for real. You understand perfectly what is Darkcoin and what will happen to it in the future. I myself can't comment on Tor hidden services and I've heard that I2P's hidden services are so much more better from core design. Lets get Tor implemented first and then...

    Which Masternode model should we implement?

    I think you can mention altcoins. Darkcoin is the supreme overlord anyway.

    is the wallet slow to synchronize right now?

    I wouldn't call 100 KB/s download speed fast man. We need to figure out something so people can sync at their max speed which in my case is 100 Mbit/s. Lol it crashed on Sync on Win 8.1.

    is the wallet slow to synchronize right now?

    Maybe the Masternode network can be used in the future for seeding the blockchain so people can download at max speed?

    Which Masternode model should we implement?

    I2P clients don't need to run as a full node. They're configured that way by default but you can turn on "Hidden mode" that way you don't contribute any bandwidth to the network at all. Its better ofcourse to contribute bandwidth so the network is faster and more anonymous, and you're not a...

    Which Masternode model should we implement?

    I2P is the way to go but Tor is fine for 1-2 years. I don't know why some members think it would be better to create your own solution inside Darkcoin. I2P is not a product, its a service just like Darkcoin. It can live on without current coders. If anything, I think Evan should help the...

    Which Masternode model should we implement?

    I2P is not lying on their site. The biggest difference from I2P and Tor is that I2P supports UDP protocol. I2P is designed to be used as a hidden service not an out-proxy. I2P developers actually recommend Tor for using as an outproxy. Tor compared to I2P... Tor developers are wasting the...
