    Pre-Proposal: Adaptive Proposal Fees

I brought that up earlier... it would work, but its complicated because it involves connecting to various 3rd party exchanges. It's really not needed if we just take a vote and use the median. K.I.S.S.

    Yes, another good solution!

    Pre-Proposal: Adaptive Proposal Fees

Take a look back at the post where I made the calculation. There doesn't have to be a silver to Dash exhange... There are plenty of Silver to Fiat exchanges, and also plenty of Fiat to Crypto exchanges. So it would work very well. It could be calculated against multiple currency (USD, CNY...

    Pre-Proposal: Adaptive Proposal Fees

So I did the math for 3 oz of silver using 2 base currencies... we could use more! USD oz of silver = 18.00 (USD) CNY oz of silver = 123.54 (CNY) 18*3=54 (USD) 123.54*3=370.62 (CNY) Divide values by price of Dash in each respective currency. 54/72.18 = 0.748 Dash 370.62/418.03 = 0.887 Dash...

    Pre-Proposal: Adaptive Proposal Fees

And I, for one, appreciate it. It takes balls at these prices. I would vote "Yes" to a proposal fee that was created based on MN votes. As long as it took into account the outliers, like somebody voting 10000 Dash and it was also flexible enough to work with fractions. I would also vote...

    Pre-Proposal: Alt36 + Dash Payment Platform

I think most of us are in agreement with that... At least I am. We will have to make sure the Core team puts a contract in place. I don't really follow your logic with a loan, and I doubt alt36 would go for something like that... unless I'm just completely mis-understanding your statement...

    Pre-Proposal: Alt36 + Dash Payment Platform

No, but that's already been discussed. They are willing to sign an agreement to use Dash exclusively for the first 24 to 36 months as part of this deal.

I'm new to Dash. How do I get a "recovery seed"?

You can also back up your wallet to an alternate location

    Pre-Proposal: Alt36 + Dash Payment Platform

Payments will be made by the core team from escrow. They will be paid based on goals they reach so I don't think this is necessary. With any investments there are risks. You just have to look at the risk/reward and make an informed decision. This is an exciting opportunity and it will have...

    Pre-Proposal System is Useless

It would be good as long as it takes account of the number of masternodes each person controls for voting. This would give much more accurate poll results. Not all of us want a masternode badge though, so we would need to be able to register without requiring the badge. @demo has the best...

    Pre-Proposal System is Useless

Good point, but I think that's a bad thing to base a decision on. I think it could scare away anybody from submitting a proposal like this for a very long time. I think we'll be stuck with 5 Dash proposals for the forseeable future even as Dash increases to higher and higher values.

    Pre-Proposal System is Useless

Based on the pre-proposal to reduce proposals fee from 5 Dash to 1 Dash, clearly the majority of people are in favor. The pole results confirm that in the pre-proposal. YES - 62.9% NO - 34.3% ABSTAIN - 2.9%...

    PrivateSend Mixing Volume

We currently have an issue with PrivateSend whereby there is not enough volume to mix transactions quickly and efficiently. We also always have unused funds in the budget. My question is, is it technically feasible to set aside a certain amount of the budget that would be distributed among...

Will the IRS (US Tax Code) kill Cryotpo (DASH)

And another from Forbes that lays it out in laymen's terms... Apparently wash sales are a gray area, so you can probably get away without reporting them. https://www.forbes.com/sites/laurashin/2015/12/16/bitcoin-at-tax-time-what-you-need-to-know-about-trading-tipping-mining-and-more/#3eec9a6c6bde

Pre-Proposal: DASH Proposal fee lowered to 1.0 DASH

Yes, and this is one if those FREE channels and it has 21 Yes Votes and 10 No Votes... Yet here we are, with this proposal hanging in the balance. It may still not pass. I personally will not be submitting any kind of proposal through our system until the fees are lowered because I can't...

Will the IRS (US Tax Code) kill Cryotpo (DASH)

Take this advise at your own risk. The IRS treats mined crypto as income. It treats crypto that you buy and sell as a commodity which is treated exactly the same way as stocks as far as IRS reporting... Wash sales and all. So an example is if you mine 10 Dash at $100 each you would report...

Will the IRS (US Tax Code) kill Cryotpo (DASH)

You are absolutely right, it will, and it has... Most people don't like to break the law, and the tax code makes it too cumbersome to make day to day transactions. Crypto currency WILL go mainstream though, it will just take time... and it will likely be that the US is the LAST to follow...

Pre-Proposal: DASH Proposal fee lowered to 1.0 DASH

Don't base your decision based on number of Dash... This is his 2nd proposal regarding this, so he'll just be breaking even if it passes. Kind of ironic this is costing him $750+ just to adjust the proposal costs... ridiculously high in my mind. Will only cost you about $75 to reverse this...
