    Known Issues and Improvement Ideas

I don't have any coding skills but I got an idea : For added security, I propose to incorporate a MD5 hash to check if the files of a wallet and/or Masternode are Intact and not tampered with. With any network traffic it's mandatory to incorporate your hash(which should be built into the...

After stable for months, now i get POSscore 1

Can somebody check this log? After months of stable masternoding with POS score 0, my MN now jumps into POS 1 sometimes, Restarting it helps. Happened 2x now. I already did a full rebuild of all the files made by dashd. I only kept dash.conf. -Its on a Raspberry PI2 btw, with RAM to spare. CPU...

Masternode On Raspberry Pi 2 Model B

I'm thinking about opening a random port, not being 22, to ssh into my Pi to update it during my holiday. Of course I need to open that port as well. I'm gonna read about it.

Its all about the security of the programs itsself. http://www.pcworld.com/article/2905995/truecrypt-audit-shows-no-sign-of-nsa-backdoors-just-some-minor-glitches.html Truecrypt 7.1a has been audited and no nastyness has been found in the software, there for, even if its abandoned id rather...

Masternode On Raspberry Pi 2 Model B

I do think you should compile at least once, because maybe some day a new download isn't available. Then at least you know what to do.

Masternode On Raspberry Pi 2 Model B

you dont have to have 2 cards. You can write image files to the card (like you will in the turorial), but you can also make them. So when you are happy with the running masternode and all is running well, just make and .IMG file from the whole SDcard to any computer using readily available...

Masternode On Raspberry Pi 2 Model B

The 1000 dash never leave your wallet so not to worry about that. You do need to have the 1000 on 1 wallet address. The windows part of this tutorial is just the putty download and the location of you wallet datadir. The rest is all OS independent. I'll check better when I'm home

Masternode On Raspberry Pi 2 Model B

Hey MangledBlue, After you start ./dashd you should wait some minutes so let is settle down. The startup takes some time on the Pi2. You can check with the command TOP. You see dashd in the list at CPU 100%. When its about 10% it should be running and you can run your ./check script. If you do...

Masternode On Raspberry Pi 2 Model B

Nice change to the scrip. My version was put together in 2min. Yours seems more informative. May just change mine to yours eventually :) There is also a script somewhere on the forum which checks if dashd is runnin every 5min or so. If not it starts it. Nice for if it has crashed. Didn't try...
