    V12 Release

@Mangled Blue and other PI2 users: I wrote a simple stupid newby script to download && compile && run a new version of dashd. Its a fire and forget script. Run it and walk away. After .46 .47 .48 .49 .50 i was getting lazy of typing the lot over and over  Option 1 in the script works...

    V12 Release

Yep. Mine .47 crashed overnight after running almost 5 days . Back to the end of the queue i guess  Also: If dashd crashes it doesnt remember it was started remotely. I have to go start it at my desktop wallet with "masternode start <password>" Only when its closed properly with...

Masternode On Raspberry Pi 2 Model B

No its no competition at all. All i was saying is that Mangled Blue got a more comprehensive guide then i have. Also more up to date. So if his guide is finished i might pull the plug on mine and trash it. That way we got only one guide. I think thats better. Mangled has my login to replace my...

Masternode On Raspberry Pi 2 Model B

When MangledBlue his guide is out he might replace mine. He got my login. Not sure what's the best way to go atm. Replace, or a second guide. But his guide is his effort so no credits if it's under my name.

POSe now at LEVEL 6 - but all looks ok???

I always give the advice to make an IMG of the SDcard so you can easily write a working masternode back to it or another card. I still got to make an image of my own card! ahahahaha

POSe now at LEVEL 6 - but all looks ok???

Mine is running from november last year till now. Still going strong. Dont forget to disable swap when done compiling. If I/O is too high, an external HD is an option? Can we point a DASHD masternode to an other workingdir like we can with the QT?

Masternode On Raspberry Pi 2 Model B

Lol did you even try typing TOP in the terminal to find out? It's a live process monitor for terminal

Masternode On Raspberry Pi 2 Model B

mmm thats a bummer. Could it be that the GUI of Ubuntu MATE takes up too much of the free RAM (1gb), even when 1gb swap added? Check the ongoing build with another terminal and use the command TOP. It shows the RAM and swap usage.

Masternode On Raspberry Pi 2 Model B

I just imagined a stealth MN running on a PI2 with a batterypack attached, connected with WIFI on a public hotspot. (citywide hotspot for example). Just in case DASH needs to go underground after some white collar gangsters bans crypto. Only Port 9999 is a problem then. Cant the data be...

Masternode On Raspberry Pi 2 Model B

    Known Issues and Improvement Ideas

thx for you response. I got an other idea: A Masternode service running alongside the masternode checking it every couple of minutes orso. Not only if dashd is running or not, but also checking its status: Is it synced, does it have connections, check the POS score etc. And if not repair it...
