Budget System v2 / Transform PR

Oh forgot one. Dash N Drink interview with remote Instantx by TaoOfSatoshi and Tweeted Out. Personally, I thought this was the most influential. Price hit the month high during that interview....but hey, I just happen to have a lot of respect for that guy in Miami doing it. Tao did a...

Budget System v2 / Transform PR

So what do you think had the most effect on Dash price in the last month? Bitcoin double spend post by Peter Todd (do you remember the huge bitcoin drop) Evolution Release Miami Conference - Paypal like payments announced InstantX added to 3 mobile wallets Electrum wallets released Dash N...

    Dash Partnership with Transform PR

Let's say we use the same metrics for this project. There are 8 on the contract. I will not name them because, this might be the secret sauce. 1. Successful, ongoing goal. 2. This goal has a target. That target has almost been reached. Much faster than anticipated. Very Successful 3...

    Dash Partnership with Transform PR

Kot, Thanks you for putting time into this summary. There is definitely a lot of work going on with this project. The main thing that we can change on a future project with another PR project is reporting metrics. And I think we can do this without spending additional time to do it.

    Dash Partnership with Transform PR

Well in this scenario, the best option would be to provide reports 1 week before a vote. That could still be monthly, just the first report would be 1 week early. I am not asking for a detailed report, just a unbiased review with metrics used in setting up the agreement with the PR company...

Company Memo: We just fired Michael Terpin!

Good point. You have to admit, some of the news articles talking about the Dash N Drink looked pretty snazzy. - And that is my 100% biased opinion...

Company Memo: We just fired Michael Terpin!

Yidakee, David, Although TheDashGuy can be annoying. He is doing a lot for Dash. He has some really good ideas for marketing and web design. Let's not let a few arguments about how things are done get in the way for letting him show his talent. I have seen a lot of responses directed at him...

    Dash Partnership with Transform PR

Evan posted on bitcointalk about why they requested the downvote.

    Dash Partnership with Transform PR

Actually, I think it just became obvious(to Dash or Terpin) once votes switched that the Terpin agreement was not a binding contract because it was tied to a non-guaranteed funding source. As David mentioned....the vote switching on long term proposals that everyone thought was nearly...

Understanding the Budget Approval Process (and a possible bug)

Not a bug. I think this is an intentional buffer for new proposals. I think the idea is that you want at least 24 hours to see a proposal before it can be paid. I remember Evan saying this, but never knew how it was enforced. wifi-portal just popped in after 24 hours. Juan's proposal should...

    Dash Partnership with Transform PR

This is a great post. There are a lot of us that need to see this type of logical thinking. We need to understand what we can actually use as a benchmark. It seems that pointing to news articles is a common statement and is supposed to give us an understanding. Unfortunately, again, I don't...

    Catch all system?

tungfa David Can we get a report directly from Transform PR on what they have been doing? If we are paying a contractor to do work for us, they should be the ones showing us what they are doing. Can we also find out what didn't go right and what went right and how they would change. I...

    Regarding how many voters vote.

Voting no for the Soda Reimbersement will not allow both the other proposals to go through. One of the 718 or 1100 Dash proposals will get bounced and there will be more than 100 Dash available to fund projects like the Soda Reimbursement. The available funds is about 7500 next month and there...

    Regarding how many voters vote.

To be clear, the 100 dash from the Soda Reimbursement and any of the 5 dash projects won't bump any proposals as it is now. The Sotoshi-Roundtable is the proposal that will bump one of the bigger projects. If we are worried about wasting funds, there should be many more projects in the 100-300...

Just click on the budget link in the app and vote from the webpage. Worked for me many times.

    Let's get thinking

That is more involved. I don't know much about how Etherium contracts work, but I think that is what you want to use. I don't think you need masternodes to do this. Of course settle in Dash so it is instant. Maybe create a thread with a good title and others can provide better advice.

    Let's get thinking

This could be an idea. I actually think there are some coins setup to do bets and probabilities. Etherium can do contracts. You can probably just do this with a website - you don't need masternodes to decide on cards/dice type games.

    Regarding our voting process

Correct me if I am wrong here, but I don't believe there is a moderator on Dashtalk. A code of ethics isn't going to do anything without enforcement. I think a moderator could be very useful for the obvious slanderous posts that come up. TheDashGuy is here quite a bit. Maybe we could get a...

    Let's get thinking

Stop thinking small guys. Instantx can transfer ANY value. Ok I think it's limited to 10,000 Dash now. But you get the point. Think betting. This would be huge. Place your bet, near instant confirmation. Horses, sports, gambling....run with it. But wait....why do you even need a betting...

    Budget Proposal - Vendor-Experience UPDATED

I just want to be clear on what happened here. When the Vender-Experience was submitted there was open funds available. Evan's Roundtable proposal for about the same amount was submitted shortly after that created the competitive situation. As for the question about making as much of this...
