We should reduce the cost of proposals.

How about we do 0.5 Dash for less than 100 dash proposals and 5 Dash for over 100 Dash proposals? It would encourage proposals less than 100 Dash for a smaller fee and encourage more effort to submit larger proposals.

Or the QR code could be a dash address. You could market to a charity too put "Donate to xxx here:" above the QR code.

Dash World: Evolution in Marketing (budget proposal)

David, I actually agree with you on this one. This proposal is well thought out. This type of marketing is what we need. Specific targeted actions for certain audiences. What good is a Dash logo ad if there is nothing giving someone a reason to click on it? We need ads that say "Masternode...

I finally started a shirt storefront...

Very cool. Can you add the Dash D in the QR code and make it bigger? Does the QR code go to whatisdash? If not, I can make you one that does. 3 2 1 I sense a Dashworld comment coming up next.

    IPV6 addresses

Did you use iptunnel on your server? Or actually do the tunnel on your local machine? A server side tunnel would be helpful - yes please post. I still don't think this is needed and probably something on your VPS is setup incorrectly. Maybe ipv6 forwarding needs to be enabled. Or maybe the...

    Proposal: Dash debit card

VytautasK, Looking at your website here: https://spectrocoin.com/en/ You already accept bitcoin with a 3% conversion fee. What is your fee when you accept Dash? Are you just adding the Shifty Button on https://shapeshift.io/site/tools/shifty-button and passing through the fee?

    IPV6 addresses

I couldn't get my nodes to start without 9998 open. Once started, sure it can be closed. I had server=1 so I could use the dashwhale restarter too. Otherwise, with server=0 you probably don't need 9998 open.

    IPV6 addresses

Also open port 9998 or put server=0 in dash.conf.

    IPV6 addresses

I doubt it is your ipv4 only connection. Let's try to fix your config. Try server=0 to disable the RPC commands. Otherwise make sure both 9999 and 9998 are open. You can't have the same ports with multiple IPV4 nodes - IPV6 you can get away with it starting one at a time. rpcport=9998...

    Dash Lamassu Integration Official Thread

isysd Thanks for updating and taking the torch. You mentioned you will be accepting instantx and that it isn't different than a standard transaction. There are differences. And more changes are getting added to help notify IX on a future dash releases. udjinM6 and moocowmoo are discussing...

    IPV6 addresses

#1. You don't need IPV6 at home to start a remove server. Just put the ipv6 in with the right format [xxxx:xxxx::xxxx:xxxx]:9999. #2. Like udjinM6 said - all WAN ports need to be 9999 #3. If you have multiple IPV4s on the same server. Forward the wan 9999 and 9998 ports to a different...

    Pre-Proposal Discussion: Dash WooCommerce Plugin

That was fast. Sounds like you are thinking ahead. As for instantx, you can do that now. You need a dashd instance running. The dashvend code can detect the IX, what you do with it will need to change(instead of a relay it will send the ok) https://github.com/moocowmoo/dashvend

    Pre-Proposal Discussion: Dash WooCommerce Plugin

nmarley, Are you detecting InstantX? This is the biggest advantage for Dash. It will enable instant downloads/purchases/etc = HUGE!. In your video you have a note about instantx, but I didn't see if this was detecting it. If you are incorporating instantX. Great idea! Fully Support. If...

Along these lines how hard would it be to implement contracts? (ether and gas could be just that....poof!)

Masternode Owners need to think like VCs

Good points Eric. I would add a few: Vote only on the proposal and it's merits. Don't just make comments about what you would change or ask for a new proposal to be submitted with a certain change. If you want something different create your own proposal. State your opinion once in a...

Could something like this be coded?

So even if masternodes could use a dynamic IP, you still need a different IP for each masternode. So that would eliminate running multiple nodes from a residential connection anyway. Well, maybe you could do a IPV4 and an IPV6 node since most ISPs give one of each.

Just to be clear...and again I am the only one that seems to want to stay on the topic of this thread. This isn't about hiring another PR company, or complaining that this is a bad idea, or that the event is private, or that dash is this or that. I am not even asking for an update about how the...

    Budget System v2 - Irrevocable multi-month contracts

I like your reasoning. For #3. When you say harder, let's be clear. If you have 20% yes(700 votes more yes) to approve, then you want 30% no(1050 votes more no) to cancel. And maybe instead of saying harder we phrase it with a larger masternode consensus. Really what we are looking for is...
