    Proposal: Dash debit card

There are companies looking into Dash debit cards already. I don't think Dash should pay for this. Not even that but Dash debit cards that pay a fat +7% interest are coming. A standard debit card is not really what's needed here, especially as we're getting this anyways in a better format.

    Interesting criticisms of DASH. Thoughts?

TaoOfSatoshi Ring Signatures have the advantage of not requiring mixing and works out of the box, so to speak. One should note, though, Monero is a Cryponote clone. There are more than 10 anon coins out there just like monero based on cryptonote. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CryptoNote In...

The mixing needs to be more intuitive

People seem to think mixing doesn't work unless they see a 100% complete message. The system needs to be more intuitive. Even 75% mixing or lower than that should suffice but no way for users to know that.

Dash Permanently added to ROKOS flavors releases for Pi 2, Pi 3, PINE64+ and new IoT devices

This is an interesting proposal. On top of the usefulness of offering Dash users a Pi OS with user friendly built-in native Dash support, there's also an interesting marketing side to this as well. Purpose of this proposal is double-fold - there's a direct utility side to it and also a...

Co-founder of Shake, a 0 fx 'bitcoin' debit card, looking to get to know the Dash community

aiouy There is no built-in way to share Masternodes. Some community members offer Masternode shares as a service. If you were to offer Dash masternode based interest paying debit cards you'd need to do some risk management on your side and figure out the amount that would be withdrawn on...

Co-founder of Shake, a 0 fx 'bitcoin' debit card, looking to get to know the Dash community

I have suggested the idea early February. Some debit card bitcoin companies are already looking into it as a result, but it would be cool if you guys would be the first to make it happen and beat others to the punch.

Dynamic Masternodes - Masternodes` impact on trading volume/liquidity

xdashguy Are you aware people can lend their coins on Poloniex and earn an interest on that? This alone contributes to higher volume. No point for Masternode owners to do that since they get a higher return operating Masternodes.

Improving Dash liquidity / volume for adoption

More exchanges are not a solution. It can help a bit but it's not a real solution. Dash was already traded on Bitfinex and got delisted because of low trading volume. Just take a look at a coin like MaidSafeCoin, which is only traded on two exchanges. It has bigger volume than Dash and...

Improving Dash liquidity / volume for adoption

It's not the financial instruments that caused issues but central banks with their stimulus & money printing which encouraged very risky behavior and moral hazard. Most politicians don't like to point out to the root cause because central banks can help their approval ratings during the short...

    Satoshi Round Table

More Satoshi Table feedback... min 13:40 It would seem junseth and derosetech are well respected in the community contrary to what tungfa believes. In retrospect, an interview with them would have helped. I guess someone persuaded the Dash team that it's best to ignore these guys. Evan can...

Improving Dash liquidity / volume for adoption

I guess this thread is in reaction to Masternode Dash volume thread I've created recently. One way to go about it would be by changing the way masternode collateral works and allowing those coins to circulate somewhat. I haven't heard yet a tech opinion from a dev on how this can be done or if...

NEW MEMBERS: Welcome to Dash! Introduce yourself...

Welcome OKtoshi! I'm Juicy, the guy who "dragged" you here. I strongly believe a more geographically decentralized masternode network would be extremely beneficial for Dash in the long run. Integrating Dash into Rokos is one step in this direction.

    Masternodes take over?

Buying masternodes would increase Dash price a lot, making continuous buying of Masternodes increasingly prohibitive. Payments won't really be reduced significantly because said buying will also increase Dash value. Even if Masternodes were to receive less Dash/payment, fiat value/payment would...

How to setup a plain Dash node? (not a masternode)

The Dash main desktop wallet acts as a standard node but can't act as a masternode even if the masternode collateral is kept inside the wallet. You would need to rent a server to run a masternode or host the masternode on your own server. Here are some Masternode guides which cointain all the...

Dynamic Masternodes - Masternodes` impact on trading volume/liquidity

Same can be said about the early pre-IPO shareholders of various tech companies. It's probably still early though as TroyDASH said.

Dynamic Masternodes - Masternodes` impact on trading volume/liquidity

Yeah, BTC38 has decent volume $5mil/day if you include all the cryptos traded there. Bitcoin is $1.6mil of that. It's great Dash is trading there now. They also have Yuan fiat pairs which means nice access to Chinese money.

Dynamic Masternodes - Masternodes` impact on trading volume/liquidity

While I like your optimism TanteStefana there's a bit of wishful thinking there. Poloniex has become a top exchange because it allows margin trading, shorting and because it pays interest on loaned coins. It's the playground of traders and speculators. Bitcoin went up a lot in its early days...

Dynamic Masternodes - Masternodes` impact on trading volume/liquidity

That could help the volume, sure. Yes and what does this tell us? It tells us that volume needs to be higher to be taken seriously by some of the high profile exchanges. Market cap alone won't do. I see volume spiked up recently with the recent buying to around 400k but seems to be coming back...
