    RC5 Launching September 22nd

I think the previous comments were all jokes too. Especially the comment by flare who will be compiling the code for release ;)

Please excuse my attempt at humour. Sarcasm is the lowest form of it after all...

Still haven't received an MN payment...

This is of little relevance given the fact today is RC5 day but in the last 14 days I have received 30 DRK from 6 masternodes. 0.35 DRK per masternode per day. I look forward to seeing if we see any changes over the next week or so.

Its 1025 in the UK. Phoenix or not, that is no excuse!

    ec2 multiple remote nothing MN(max 5)

Nice to know that spots work in this use case.

    Are you running spot instances?!

    ec2 multiple remote nothing MN(max 5)

Propulsion My bill for this month is going to be all over the place because I've got instances running on testnet, NOMP instances etc etc but I can confirm the following: My T2.medium is costing $1.34 per day with 6 masternodes running on it. My masternode instance is the only instance in...

    ec2 multiple remote nothing MN(max 5)

Thanks chaeplin. I agree that secondary interface isn't ideal. There is a fault with my AWS account that I'm waiting for Amazon to fix which means that I can't access new instances that I create so I thought I'd find a work around in my spare time. If you add a new network interface and...

    ec2 multiple remote nothing MN(max 5)

chaeplin I want to have seven masternodes on this instance but you can only have 6 private IPs per network interface! If you create a new network interface after an instance is running, then linux is not configured to use it. Any tips? I found this useful but I could not get it to work...

    v0.10.13.x RC5 Testing

I've barely had a chance to play with any of the RC5 versions so I have only just jumped in. Really happy with how it works.

Paper: Transaction Locking and Masternode Consensus

The potential for masternodes being used for additional services is the reason I tend to overspec.

Paper: Transaction Locking and Masternode Consensus

Congratulations Evan, Holger and Fernando. Mind blowingly simple and the potential is huge. I'm awestruck.

Just to add....38% of masternode payments are not being paid at this time. It is only just financially viable to host a masternode on EC2 at the moment depending on your luck. There are some real bad actors mining at the moment.

    RC5 Launching September 22nd

I cannot remember where I read it but I did see Evan write somewhere on this forum that he was going to give pools a window to update before turning on enforcement. I think/hope it will be a short window though.

Can there be a Stonehedge trophy for most annoying questions about masternode payments?

If you go to elastic IPs and click on the help symbol in the top right hand corner and scroll right to the bottom there is a link to a form to request a limit increase. I only asked for an increase of one (Ireland) but they replied and said that I had a limit of 11 for that region now. Pretty...

    ec2 multiple remote nothing MN(max 5)

Just set up a sixth masternode on a single T2.medium. Seems to be running fine. For capacity planning purposes I think I'm going to cap it at 6 masternodes per T2.medium. Amazon have given me 11 elastic IPs per region for some reason. I only asked them for one more. Maybe one day I'll have...

Who actually votes for the Masternodes to be paid?

I thought it was the pools that voted!! I'd really love a clear answer on how voting works.

[CLOSED] Masternode shares with automated payouts.

I'd be very interested to hear what your experimental set up is once you've tried it out :D
