Dashwhale / rango's budget proposal : Christmas Lottery

Is is very likely that the yes voters judge the tiny breach as irrelevant and focus on the benefits. I don't think masternode owners would vote yes on a 7000 DASH proposal to be evenly distributed across all yes voters.

Dashwhale / rango's budget proposal : Christmas Lottery

That's a way too political interpretation. Yes, this proposal hacks this fundamental principle of the proposal system (masternode owners should not release budget funding for themselves), but that's just a more or less unintended sideeffect and i don't want to switch the core of this proposal to...

Dashwhale / rango's budget proposal : Christmas Lottery

Innovation is maybe not the right word. This masternode lottery brings benefits: - activity on budget system - community engagement and entertainment of masternode owners and thereby contributing to masternode owner long term engangement (and maybe the price as well) A (future) lottery for all...

Dashwhale / rango's budget proposal : Christmas Lottery

Yes, the more tickets you have in the box, the higher is the chance to win. There is an idea for annother, more fair lottery proposal, where every DASH owner can participate (last transaction that makes it into a block, wins a bounty). But given the current constraints of the budget system...

    Dash iPhone Wallet

Guys, we also could think of uploading the iOS app at signcloud.com That's basicly a app resigning service, which could bring the iOS dashwallet to users, which don't want to take the hassle to compile it themselves. Membership fee of about 15 USD per year sucks, but better than no wallet at all...

QuantumExplorer Great, putting it on my phone worked now. You may want to change the bundle name within the github repository to something that has not been taken. So other users just have to download xcode, clone the dashwallet repo and compile it without making changes to the code.

Managed to get gmp working. You have to configure it with "--enable-cxx" to enable c support (which is not enabled by default). Moved it to the dashwallet directory and included it at two locations: #include <gmp-6.1.0/gmp.h> ---- After doing all this the error we started with returned...

the-baker Thank you very much. Running "git submodule update --init --recursive" did not solve the problem. The included module secp256k1/src/secp256k1.c is available.

QuantumExplorer Awesome! i tried to build it and ran into two issues: 1. The bundle name "com.darkcoinfoundation.dashwallet..." is already occupied (probably due to your appstore submission). I replaced it to com.dashfoundation.XX at multiple locations. This solved all problems the compiler...

I'd love to compile this baby myself, but the iOS DASH wallet source code is not available. I don't know, if you guys planned to release the source code.

Outch, that's a heavy setback. A partner of mine tried to release a mining monitoring app displaying scrypt and x11 mining data. Scrypt was ok, X11 was rejected by them. DASH & X11 seem to be on a Apple internal blacklist. Maybe due to the foundation name or due to private payment...

    Proof of voting?

Moocowmoo, the backend we used to build Dashwhale has been taken from annother crypto project. This project was running for >= 2 years. People were able to withdraw funds using this backend. Bounties were put up to encourage people to find security issues. Since there were funds to withdraw...

    Proof of voting?

GrandMasterDash It is a good idea! During registration, you only need to enter a nickname. In the unlikely case of a hack, the only thing that could be revealed is a link between your added masternodes and your anonymous Dashwhale nickname. Evan himself is using Dashwhale. He has approved...

DashCentral.org - masternode monitoring and budget voting

fulltimegeek Thank you very much for your kind words and suggestion. With each proposal there is a row saying: "Will be funded: Yes/No". I tried to highlight it with red/green colors, however this disturbs the optics. I'll think about a solution and will hopefully improve the funding status...

yamada Great. I suppose, the problem you reported is related to the fact that your old daemon was running as user "masternode". And your dashwhale-updater cronjob is running as "root". If you want to run things constently as user "masternode" you have to change your cronjob to user...

DASH budget information network (DBIN) - php and javascript dev wanted!

Multiple proposal descriptions and discussion on different websites leads to loss of information and should be avoided. To...
