I hear what you're saying. And as time goes by smaller proposals will eventually require 3rd party management. But I feel that we also want to improve the technology / process of managing proposals so that we can stay as close to the user base as possible for as long as possible.

This is an old thread that somehow got reactivated. I'm deleting the text because the price of Dash has increesed so much that the numbers look silly now.

I'd like to see the proposal process remain accessible to smal projects for as long as we are able to. It gives a since of inclusion. There is no problem with spam proposals yet, so let's not fix what is not broken.
