Had the same problem once. Tried everything for weeks. Only thing that helped in the end was to get a new ip for my MN. As soon as I switched to a different ip everything worked fine!

Hey everyone, so I've been running my MN almost since day 1 on testnet, when there where no payments at all. And I had some issues here and there, but nothing I couldn't fix. But since v16 I can't get my Masternode to work properly anymore. I tried everything I could think of myself and...

my own MN says active, :1 I quoted flares post because I wrote about my problem couple of pages back already. Then it seems to fix itself with drk.mn (yes I know it's just like any other Node and not the word of god, but it shows that there are some problems with the MN list propagating!) Back...

My node disappeared once more from drk.mn and has not reappeared for some time now. Also I have not received a further payment for 3 days

Ok so apparently it's just a cosmetic bug of the masternode list. Cause drk.mn uses "darkcoind masternode list" or am I wrong? And when I check the masternode list on my nodes I don't see my MN neither from time to time

So checked again today. I'm again off the Masternode list... Could you find anything in the debug.log?

Usage of /: 41.0% of 7.75GB edit: I just checked and my node seems to be back on the list again. So maybe it only drops off temporarily from time to time. (Sent you the debug.log flare)

I have to restart at least once a day. Both the Local and the Remote to get it back on the list. I deleted peers.dat again and started a new debug.log and will monitor it now. When it drops off again maybe I can send the log to you or evan?

My Local Remote Masternode Setup still gets dropped off the Masternodelist with the newest version... Anyone else having problems with local/remote?

Fixed it with this: "shutdown all, delete peers.dat on local and remote, startup all, send masternode start twice a few seconds apart" All credit goes to moocowmoo! thanks again mate ;)

I'm running a hot/cold MN. "masternode debug" shows: "masternode started remotely" MN list shows ~220MNs but I don't see my own IP Have it running for ~18hours now on 16.6 and no payment so far (not that unusual) Do I need to restart it because it's not in the MNlist or do I just have to wait?

I'm kind of worried that the MN share will be too much once the price will go up. For mining you'll just have more miners, so it's self balancing (See BTC). But with the 1000 DRK needed there can only be so many MNs. Don't get me wrong, I think raising the MN reward was a good idea to get closer...

They can't mix with the 1000DRK vin. But why not with some extra DRK you put on them? This should be optional I think. But my guess is that if you lift the fees for DLP there would be a lot more people willing to do it. The trick with requiring a MN is that you can punish them for misbehaving...

So I get why there needs to be a fee for Darksend, to prevent spamming/abuse. But here's my proposal: Let Masternodes be Darksend Liquidity Providers (optional) until there's enough usage that we don't need it anymore AND don't charge them the fee. If a MN operator trys to missbehave, eg spam...
