In conclusion, you are re-iterating what was already known which is that more mods and new policies are in the pipeline.

confession from a former DASH maximalist

I think you will find that bitcoin's (or BCH's) first mover advantage and current status is not going to be enough to pull it through in the long run. In the end it's all about long term sustainability and scaling, which is a problem that few (or no) blockchain projects have been able to solve...

    Dash blockchain visualization

Nice! I'm wondering about the transactions though, I'm seeing a lot of purple (indicating over 1000 Dash) but I haven't seen any >1000 Dash txns on the actual blockchain in the last several blocks

It would be more prudent to patiently wait for the situation to be resolved (since it has already been acknowledged by everyone), than to continue on an impetuous tirade.

You can criticize Macrochip's demeanor (this point has already been made abundantly clear), but I find it striking that you are not even acknowledging anything about what Macrochip has accomplished (and thoroughly linked to). We really need to take a step back and look at the big picture here...

Some analysis of the Dash treasury DAO, looking for community feedback before publishing

AFAIK the only thing we know about the distribution is that Evan Duffield claimed several months ago to have 256,000 dash (3% of supply) and that he does not operate any Masternodes. The core team has not claimed anything about their holdings and I do not believe there is any data /evidence to...

You can find a historical chart of the MN count here http://178.254.23.111/~pub/Dash/Dash_Info.html Nice work!

ANY MODERATOR, PLEASE DELETE THIS THREAD RIGHT AWAY!

My apologies, it appears that I rushed my previous response. The *first* re-post above from DashingDude is a post from John Reed. The *second* re-post is from you, Helper Dash. We are in agreement. I don't really have an opinion on whether or not you are the same person, but my default belief...

I don't have any comment, but for anyone else -- From my memory, I can vouch for the authenticity of the deleted messages posted by @DashingDude -- what he posted is indeed what I remember was previously posted by John Reed.

What are you hoping to accomplish by deleting your own posts? Also what does it accomplish to tell us that you have more you would like to say but you won't say it?

You can ask it here or on the discord or telegram. There are multiple avenues to ask questions and you would need to be banned from all of them for this to be preventing you from getting what you need.

Reddit, Facebook, Twitter, other social media may not be the most important places, but that does not mean we should not be putting our best foot forward and making it as useful as possible for people who do use it. Polishing a turd, perhaps. But maybe it is better for everyone in the vicinity...

Well apparently they are leaving it in my hands and they already knew that I thought doing a proposal might not be necessary since I think we can achieve the actual goals without one. So unless someone else thinks there needs to be a proposal there is not going to be one.

Thanks! As I mentioned at the start of our conversation, I am not sure if a proposal will be necessary - there may be some actions we can take proactively to help ensure a good experience for everyone on /r/dashpay and also here on the forum. But if there is going to be a proposal submitted then...

It might not matter if he agreed - if he disagreed and acted in a way that was against the rules then there would be mod action taken to discourage or stop the behavior ;)

You did not use the word 'professionalism', but the example apology/statement you cited as what you would like to hear is exactly that. Likewise, I do not consider this to be personal either. I've already explained why I have not commented on Macrochip specifically right now. If you won't...
