    V12.1 Testnet Launch Thread

I think it could even be faster if my internet was not so damn dodgy where I'm at... old ADSL that changes IP every 6 hours and the router has more brain-damage than a monero troll. All 3 wallets had unconfirmed tx, wallet 1 and 2 for about an hour ... dammit. -zapwallettxes and off they go...

    This is "crazy"... all 2k @ 8 rounds 1 hour mark. Wallet 1 - 8% Wallet 2 - 17% Wallet 3 - 47% .

that totally sounded like star wars talk looool :D ... Ok, so do I need to have them drop for one hour (./dashd stop), or just let them go as is? I presume the latter. Regarding MN-mining rewards, are they active? I remember some talk about changing some stuff around but didn't follow much

    V12.1 Testnet Launch Thread

hmmm ... so I was brushing up on my CLI ... Main QT is happy to report start-many is successful, but all of my nodes spit back this message. root@atl3:~# ./dash-cli masternode status { "vin": "CTxIn(COutPoint(0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000, 4294967295)...

4 tMN's updated successfully, and 3 mix wallets reset to start 2k tDash @ 8 rounds mixing. @TanteStefana ... that doesn't make sense. If it is indeed a protocol bump, then the node should need a remote start. run './dash-cli getinfo' on the VPS to check protocol version to see if you updated...

I had proposed a DGbB tab, like the MN tab, but in a brief exchange with Evan over at the #Dev channel he mentioned he didn't want to see this implemented in the QT right now. I think it would be cool to have a simple ballot tracking tab, but there seems to be magic happening in the background...

Ha! Over a year without setting up a node thanks to Node40, haven't lost my touch... { "overall": "Successfully started 4 masternodes, failed to start 0, total 4", "detail": { "status": { "alias": "MN1", "result": "successful" }, "status": { "alias": "MN2"...

@UdjinM6 - sweet got the MN tab. Just to report that in Linux the MN sub-tabs are justified left and not centered, unlike the OSx example above.

    Let's talk branding

I absolutely agree. Our colour scheme is way outdated. Way way way too saturated and, well, uninteresting to say the least. We can definitely should do something about it. But, and this is a huge BIG but... It is far more important to be coherent about our strategic roll-out than nitpick about...

Who runs the Dash OpenBazaar Store?

hahahah!! That "Dash sucks" t-shirt... Whoever is idiot enough to buy that is, well ... going to lose his BTC and may well rethink the whole concept. I doubt anything will be done. I mean, that would defeat the whole logic behind "decentralised open market"

Ah, ok cool. I think that will be a bit too technical for me to follow. I mean, Ethereum is hard enough as it is... Shame the blockchains is 16GB already, otherwise I would try Mist to check it out.

    Upgrading Tao's "Dash Nation" concept.

A good argument once in a while is certainly not a bad thing, if people have sense and sensibility, only good things can come out of it. Anyway, very glad to see that we buried the hatchet. We're all working on the same goal. Go Dash Nation, go! .

    Coinbase

Masternodes do the mixing, but miners write and secure the blocks. They're the book keepers. Miners will do anything to get ahead of the game, they're always trying (and finding) ways to rig the system in their favour. We've had this in the past, where miners would for example, not upgrade...

Hey, hold on. It does work, just that many people report having not such a smooth experience as before. It's not our fault miners have compiled their own daemons and not run Dash as it's supposed to. Anyway, this is not fact, it's conjecture. We're looking into it. .

There is a strong suspicion some big miners are purposely neglecting DS+ tx fee, essentially halting the system. Testnet always work like a charm, and the Liquidity Provider team has been on 24/7. Evan also found a little bug I believe that will make it much more efficient. We're looking into...

    Upgrading Tao's "Dash Nation" concept.

@TheDashGuy @TaoOfSatoshi ... I swear on my unborn child I'm not try to stir up anything. Please do read it that way. Just trying to understand something. Following our multi-page "argument" on the other thread, where I saw myself bombared with all sorts of critiques and accusations, but...
