    V12.1 Testnet Launch Thread

4 Masternodes updated and reindexed. QT + 3 mix wallets updated and reindexed. Consolidating fund to mix again. 4 CPU testnet miners up and running (winners list populated and fairly congruent) All on the same chain What should we be testing now ?

    Question about Evolution

@demo You clearly did not get my post. The kind of user you describe will not use Evolution no matter what method is used. He'll use the QT or even the daemon. Evolution is for the majority, not a select few.

    Question about Evolution

Regarding anonymity and privacy. Darkcoin/Dash was never really really about anonymity. Bear with me. Evan's original intent was to create a project that solved Bitcoin's core issues. One of the biggest was lack of fungibility, one of the core conditions any means of value needs to have to...

    V12.1 Testnet Launch Thread

Ok, how about this idea. In the same way that when you password protect your wallet you're forced to reboot the QT, why not make it that once you press Start Mixing, a pop-up appears warning the user the QT needs to restart the wallet to prepare it for the mixing process, warning users to...

    V12.1 Testnet Launch Thread

I know it does, I meant that I dont have a "usual usage" wallet, with everyday life transactions. Maybe some service or frequently used address might auto-hide too. Just saying, it would be more end-user intuitive to have that clearly marked and tucked away. No being fussy, just suggesting

@AjM - not really the same thing, or is it? Though truth be said, I don't have a real usage wallet to see.

I reiterate my feature request. A simple click mark to hide PrivateSend denom tx.

Pre-proposal Discussion: PrivateSend special task force

Completely understand and everyone is obviously sympathetic with your worries. The new testnet version much much much better now. I did 3 wallets with 2k tDash @ 8 rounds complete 100% in under 14h, and that is just overkill needs for anonymity. Some have done 1k @ @ 2 rounds in an hour or two...

    V12.1 Testnet Launch Thread

4 tMN's updated (start-many just in case) - QT sees total of 57 atm 3 mix wallet reset for 2k tDash @ 8 rounds and added to the dash.conf privatesendmultisession=1 zapwallettxes=1 Strange behavior (or not) ... the QTs defaulted back to 2 rounds. I go into setting and change back to 8 rounds...

    New forum bugs

One thing that is bugging the hell out of me is the following. I'm on OSx, and was unable to reproduce this in Linux, so I guess it's a Mac thing. Maybe just Safari, must test on others. I write a post, and then click to edit. The edit window pops up. If the entire post is bigger than the...

    V12.1 Testnet Launch Thread

yeah, getting stuck txs too that halt mixing. My metrics gone to crap 'cos it got stuck all night. Going to restart when the new version pops up. @UdjinM6 can you give us a kindergarten explanation on what -darksendmultisession does? I'll give -privatesendmultisession a go next round. .

    V12.1 Testnet Launch Thread

Weird thing happened. So I suffer from the known lagging-after-sleep-OS bug with VMware Ubuntu 15. So I quit the QTs and rebooted. Never had a problem, reboot just makes it snappy again. When trying to open the QT with -datadir= ... I got Permission Denied from terminal ... on all 3 mix...

    V12.1 Testnet Launch Thread

Mix result - 3 wallets, 2k tDash @ 8 rounds, dodgy internet, laptop from work to home. 8 hours total mix time Restarted QT zapping tx anyway Wallet 1 - 19% Wallet 2 - 23% Wallet 3 - 42% wallet 3 seems legit

    V12.1 Testnet Launch Thread

No dude, I'm not saying that, I'm answering to qwizzie's suggestion, implying that it's not the case, and that fee's won't fix this :p (but wtf do I really know about code?)
  20. yidakee

    V12.1 Testnet Launch Thread

@qwizzie - I'm not entire sure, but unconfirmed-tx by miners has to do with block getting full. So increasing fees will prioritised them into the blocks when the mempool is full? These are unconfirmed propagated tx, and why -zapwallettxes gets rid of them. If this is right I deserve gold star...
