    v0.10.15 - Onyx Release

^ I think that is exactly what is happening.

    Stonehedge is back!

The best bit is that part of livening up a new data centre is load testing the air cooling and checking for hotspots which means that we sometimes need to run all hardware at load for a period of time and use thermal cameras to spot "dead spots" of air circulation. Amongst my colleagues and...

    Stonehedge is back!

I'm firmly in the "we need miners" camp. Don't worry about that.

    Stonehedge is back!

Or wasting my time :D I still like the idea of distributed CPU/GPU mining on a larger scale but I can't work in two directions at once. There is even the technical possibility of not needing mining at all. In the meantime I'm just going to have some fun and try to waste as little money as...

    Stonehedge is back!

No, just arranging a POC. If it works with a single GPU blade then I'm going to see if I can call in some favours and borrow the super high spec GPU blades that TV stations use for encoding/decoding multiple HDTV broadcast feeds. I've heard (although not confirmed) that they can encode 16...

    Mint-Gox

I get confused with time zones. I mean, my wife is in Singapore at the moment where it is 1830. I'm in London where it is 1130. Why can't she send me sports results from the future so we can make some money?

    Stonehedge is back!

Somebody I knew in the UK dug through his basement, under the pavement and spliced into the street lighting power feed from there. In terms of what I'm doing, I'm hoping to call in a favour and run a quick PoC with one of these...

I'll be gone again tomorrow but I'll turn it up a bit before I leave

    Stonehedge is back!

LOL I haven't been gone for long! Most of that is mine although there are a few contracts to top up. I don't have regular access to hardware though. I only get to use it during downtime. I'm planning on building a really big rig soon though. I need a new project.

    v0.10.15 - Onyx Release

In more cheerful news, my nodes have stabilised and payments are flowing

    v0.10.15 - Onyx Release

Walter, I see where you are coming from but by not updating all your nodes you would be protracting the problem for yourself and others.

    v0.10.15 - Onyx Release

I guess this is why updates have to be rare if possible. Would the effect of instant (or up to 1 week) enforcement really be that bad?

    v0.10.15 - Onyx Release

eduffield I've had ten masternodes go from status 1 to 0 overnight and I'm reading the odd report of other people experiencing the same thing. EDIT: Yesterday I could see a few IPs that were listed numerous times in the masternode list although that seems to have cleared today. DOUBLE EDIT...

    MPOS DarkcoinTalk's Official Pool Thread!

To be fair, the first time I pointed that rig at you you blocked me for three hours but then it really stabilised out and things were fine. I reckon I was only submitting 5% valid at the beginning of that session. Hardly fair to say a pool should be able to handle that without thinking...

Can it handle stupid hashrates yet?

    v0.10.15 - Onyx Release

10 masternodes, 6 hours, 1 select and pay....too early to form an opinion.

    For example ( and I know they aren't all active) "89.248.164.64:9999" : 1, "89.248.171.41:9999" : 0, "89.248.171.41:9999" : 0, "89.248.171.41:9999" : 0, "89.248.171.41:9999" : 0, "89.248.171.41:9999" : 0, "89.248.171.41:9999" : 0, "89.248.171.41:9999" : 0, "89.248.171.41:9999" : 0...

    v0.10.15 - Onyx Release

I'm seeing a few IPs duplicated regularly and consecutively in the master node list since I updated. Is this expected behaviour?
