Proposal: The Dash Expansion at Skatopia

Thanks to the community for helping us tailor the pre-proposal(s) into the current proposal. (Proposal, Part 1) Synopsis If you read the original pre-proposal for this project last month, you'll notice WE HAVE DOUBLED THE NUMBER OF DAYS FOR THE EVENT (from 3 to 6), but kept the cost almost...

Pre-Proposal: The Dash Expansion at Skatopia (2nd Ed.)

Thanks a lot! We appreciate your time and kind words. Over the years we've worked with many great people. We look forward to adding Dash's community to that list. We see big things ahead for Dash.

(Proposal, Part 1) Synopsis If you read the original pre-proposal for this project last month, you'll notice WE HAVE DOUBLED THE NUMBER OF DAYS FOR THE EVENT (from 3 to 6), but kept the cost almost exactly the same. Now the Bowl Bash 22 event is going to be two consecutive weekends, and...

Can't get Dash Central to work

thanks so much for the compliment and support...and that idea might help, but it does add like 15 Dash in cost to the proposal, as we have until August to provide proof of the last major stage of the proposal...the construction. It will be done at or before July 1st, meaning we might not get...

Can't get Dash Central to work

Yeah, I didn't see anywhere on the page where it said not to use spaces, but that is likely the issue...I won't try again though until this payment schedule stuff gets cleared up. I'm really confused right now as to what the community expects given their support for something that seems to be...

Can't get Dash Central to work

So, I'm confused...I was told the community would prefer pay-after-proof proposals...they appeared to indeed love the idea when we proposed it without being prodded first...but now, if I understand correctly, there is no possible way to conduct such contracts with Dash? This is a HUGE problem...

Can't get Dash Central to work

I did the hard refresh thing a couple times while troubleshooting here. Okay, have questions... 1. The way our payout is structured is pay-after-proof. We aren't going to get an even amount every month and I see no way to put in different amounts for each pay period. Further, we don't...

Can't get Dash Central to work

Will try here soon and let everyone know how it went. Thanks again!

Can't get Dash Central to work

If you do, let us know...we'd love to have anyone from the Dash community show up. You wouldn't be the only non-skater there. Some people come for the skating, some for the freedom, some for camping, some to hunt (off season), and some to just participate in the ongoing art project that is the...

Can't get Dash Central to work

Oh great! Thanks! Slayer is beloved at Skatopia, so bonus! So glad it wasn't on my end.

Can't get Dash Central to work

Anyone know my problem? I used Firefox and Chrome, neither worked any better. I try to create a proposal but it has no options under the drop down for dates or payments, and the only other things present to fill in are price and name of the proposal. Then I hit create proposal but nothing...

    Proposal Evaluation Committee

Then again, this whole thing changes with Evolution...anyone with a "savings" will have partial votes, if I'm not mistaken. That makes the MNs overruled by the sheer number of consumer who vote, assuming the virtuous cycle takes off as expected. So, in the end, MN councils might work entirely...

    Proposal Evaluation Committee

Take it with a grain of salt...just my opinion, which might not be worth much... I like the idea if 3 or more are created simultaneously. That helps to thwart centralization via open competition. Let the best ones win. Let more come in via other proposals too, for the same thing, if they hate...

Pre-Proposal: The Dash Expansion at Skatopia

I'm not trying to dismiss your concerns, but this is a super cheap concrete pour. This park has hundreds of thousands of dollars of concrete in it from almost 22 years of annual pours like this one. There is no way to pour any smaller than this, as the trucks cost a flat amount, they hold 10...

Pre-Proposal: The Dash Expansion at Skatopia

Already the plan. Dash will go on a painting of a large skateboard, with the website and digital cash written below the logo, which is the center of the board. We can do it without the board too. :) It's #8 under what we can do for Dash... "8. A large outdoor skateboard bowl expansion...

Pre-Proposal: The Dash Expansion at Skatopia

Thanks for watching and considering! We're hoping to get more talk in here and more total votes as well.

Pre-Proposal: The Dash Expansion at Skatopia

If anyone wants an explanation why a smaller pour makes no sense economically or logistically, I can explain that. Also, if anyone wants the places we got our bids from, we can do that too. This is all on the up and up, and we are making a real effort to show that. Not to mention we are willing...
