Report on the work done

I am speaking on behalf of the Russian-speaking community.

The community does not like the fact that we often hear that the DCG fund is almost empty, but we do not know how much money is spent on developers and what these developers are doing. The community wants to understand where and what the money is spent on, and in what volume. We ask to introduce a rule for monthly financial reports that will not disclose data on the income of specific individuals, but at the same time will show how much money was spent on each product developed and (or) supported by DCG. Creating reports should not take much time, and the report itself should be a small table with expense items and funds spent.
Otherwise, the community would like the funding for each area to be separate (Mobile wallets separately, dash core separately, platform separately, website support separately).
This approach would increase trust in DCG activities for both new and old investors, and as a result would reduce the number of groundless discussions on the topic of "DCG does nothing and gets big money", and would also allow the community to see the real costs for each project (area of activity), and then evaluate the effectiveness of DCG units involved in these projects.

example table:

Budget expenses for December:
- Dash core development - 10,000 usd
- platform development - 50,000 usd
- android wallet development - 25,000 usd
- iphone wallet development - 0 usd
- website update - 0 usd
- legal costs - 5,000 usd
- something else - 20,000 usd

Broadly speaking, you already have this with the DCG Development updates, they occur every 2 weeks.

You will also see posts on this forum like this which shows the financial status of DCG each quarter.

Finally, you will also see a breakdown of resources in the DCG main proposal found on Dash Central.

YouTube reports are an inconvenient format for obtaining information.

In which YouTube video should I look for an answer to the question "how much budget was spent on developing an Android wallet for the month of December?" How many hours do I need to watch the video before I find (or not find) the number I'm interested in? How can I translate a video if it's not text?

The Dash community needs to publish reports in plain text format.
- This will allow us to have one permanent address-link for all reports, for example www.dash.org/stat/
- Reports will be easy to find through a car search, a search in a browser and an AI assistant.
- Reports will be easy to understand and translate into another language by simply copying the text into Google Translate.

This problem has 2 solutions:

Solution 1:
- Spend a lot of time and effort recording videos for YouTube.
- Then spend a lot of money and budget on creating "smart" software with artificial intelligence.
- Then teach users to use these technologies.

Solution 2:
Publish statistics on the website in plain text.
